You need to follow the following rules when drawing magnetic lines of force.

(i) Magnetic lines of force originate from a [North] pole and ends at a [South] pole.

(ii) Magnetic lines of force cannot cross one another.

(iii) The spacing between adjacent lines of force indicate the strength of the magentic field. A narrow spacing represents a strong field, whereas a wide spacing represents a weak field.
