Langkawi local trip

I am interested in the Island Hopping tour, Palau Payar Marine Park snorkeling or diving tour in Langkawi. I am looking for some good local tours to join in. Is it true that some companies could pick up at hostel and some companies need me to go to the meeting point by driving?
