I am going away for the weekend = I am likely to go away for the weekend

其實類似的用法應該是用未來式，因為事情並未發生。

I will go away for the weekend. 感覺上是偏近客觀認為事情會發生
I am going away for the weekend. 這句則是偏向主觀認為事件會發生
