Why was it me who had to be in this body?

The problem for you is that you are your body. There is no soul occupying it.

Think of it like this...When you are sitting in a car are you the car...No
You are the driver. your body is like the car your mind is the computer that runs it and your soul, that little piece of something deep inside is the driver.

Great people in the Bible wished that they had not been born either.

Jeremiah 20:14-15

You were given a choice. You choose to be born. The devil and the one third of God's children choose not to follow God's plan and were cast out to the earth, never to be born or to recieve a body. They want one now and seek to possess one, even if it is just a pig.

Matthew 8
28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

Revelation 12

Life gets really bumpy, to put it lightly, but thats the enemy attempting to reel you in.

But the good news is that God said in Jeremiah 29:11, "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (MSG)

Ask Jesus to come into your life and restore you. Isaiah 40:31 says, "... those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. " (NIV)
