can we determine the cash flow of operation just by looking at the "cash" title under the assets of balance sheet?or do we need information from the statement of cash flow?

Cash flow activities from operation can be obtained from the statement of cash flows. The balance sheet only lists the total changes of all 3 sections: operating, investing, and financing; not detailed listing of individual transactions.
