If p and q are the roots of the equation x^2 - x + 3 = 0, then

(2^(p-2)) x (2^(q-2))
=?

(2^(p-2)) x (2^(q-2))

= 2^(p - 2 + q - 2)

= 2^(p + q - 4)

= 2^(1 - 4)

= 1/8
