Prisoner, I would say more than half of the women population would not show themselves in public without a little bit of "smearing campaign", no pun intended.

To say it takes a lot of courage to do so without is over-stretching. Then again, who am I to be a judge of that. But I do go out unshaven more times than I can count, since most Asian men can't even glue facial hair on their faces. Haha!!

Nope, it does not take a lot of guts for girls to be make-up free.
I for one, do not wear for they are too expensive.
