How could child abusing be generated into a a theory of knowledge topic?

I don't see how it can be done. TOK is in the field of epistemology. Child abuse goes further, into the third branch of philosophy, ethics, and probably even into politics if you discuss methods of dealing with it.

Epistemology is how the mind works; not how it deals with individual subjects.

Need ideas...
