Which is better? PS3 or Xbox 360 and WHY?

Well, I have an Xbox 360. And I have to say, it's probably better than the Ps3.
Sure Ps3 has free online, but it's insecure, and slow.
Ps3 has blu-ray. Blu-ray is crap, just hogs memory and is laggy.
Ps3 has better graphics? So insignificantly that it's unnoticeable.
Ps3 has absolutely no community what so ever. You have to be playing the SAME game to talk to your friends.
Ps3 was recently hacked, and shut down for about 1 month.
Ps3 also, from what I've seen, suck. The players in CoD or Battlefield are uber noobs, they have no skill so it's no challenge which isn't necessarily fun.
Ps3 games aren't that great. . . OK you have Uncharted, cool . . Xbox has more fun exclusive games E.g Halo, or Gears Of War.

Overall, I would go with an Xbox 360, cause most likely, most of your friends probably own one.
To all the Ps3 people that are probably going to flame me, I'm not hating, it's my opinion. If you can't handle that. Then get off the internet.

Oh, by the way, If you want the best of the best, consider PC gaming. Just saying.

PS3 is way better you don't get the shitty RROD like you do with the xbox and you get free online.

The XBox has more accessories. But the PS3's online is free and blu ray so the graphics are better. The PS3 does more. I'd get the PS3.

Xbox 360 has more accessories, but they recently have 320GB hard drive.

They are the same.

If you compare the new slim xbox that is.
Connection is the same.
Graphics are the same.
Controllers have 2 sticks and the same amount of buttons.
Most of the games are the same.

The only real difference is ps3 there is no annual fee to play online and it can play blu ray.

Basically get whatever your friends have.
