Do Ps2 games work on the slim ps3?

The newer slim versions are not backwards compatible. I have a bunch of ps2 games that are now useless to me :(

No. Only the fat Ps3 models from 2006-2007 could play Ps2 games. The 2008 models to the models we got now do not support Ps2 backward compatibility.

You need one of the FIST GEN fat PS3's. Only the first gen ones are backwards compatible. The ones that came out before Sony decided to rip us off by re-sellilng us our old PS2 games.

You need a Fat PS3. The slims did away with backwards compatibility.
