30.00cm^3 of a 0.2M EDTA solution is added to 20.00cm^3 of an
Fe3+ solution. The excess EDTA is then back-titrated with a 0.1M
Pb2+ solution. 15.68cm^3 of the Pb2+ soluion is consumed. What
is the concentration of the Fe3+ solution?

✔ 最佳答案
Fe^3+(aq) + EDTA^2-(aq) → [Fe-EDTA]^+(aq)
Pb^2+(aq) + EDTA^2-(aq) → [Pb-EDTA]^+(aq)

Let y M be the concentration of Fe^3+.

(No. of moles of Fe^3+) + (No. of moles of Pb^2+) = (No. of moles of EDTA)
y(20.00/1000) + 0.1*(15.68/1000) = 0.2*(30.00/1000)
y = 0.2216

Concentration of Fe^3+ = 0.2216 M
