Well i dont know why shes always in her room and when i said hi to her this morning she hit me and said i hate you she is 16 and i let her stay out till 12 on school nights and 1 on saturdays she has been coming home lately smelling like smoke but she said it was the bbq ****disgrard the name im new to this and dont know how to start my own yahoo so i just used my sons since he was logged in***

You spoil her way too much and give her too much freedom instead of trying to sit down and talk to her like a dad would. She probably has things bottled up and just can't tell you, you have to make her open up, I don't know how just do it! You are the father and you raised her!

You need to be more strict with her. She's probably learning attitude from her friends. Hitting you is well-worth grounding, and "I hate you" is worth double. On school nights, she shouldn't be out past 9 at the latest. On weekends, maybe 12 (maybe she should call you to check in every hour or something or send you a pic of where she is). So don't let her talk you out of groundings or better restrictions. You're her mother. Lay down the law. :)
