Why do girls think I flirt with so many girls when I don't?

Girls in my school thinks I flirt with so many girls and that I'm a player but when I'm actually not, I don't even talk to the other girls they're the one who talk to me or get my attention e.g.
They would hit me so I would hit them back (Softly though) or They would tease me so I have to tease them back to let them know I don't let them do as they please.
Does it seems I'm flirting??

It sounds like you are flirting with these girls, but I must say, it's not all your fault. It sounds like these girls are trying to get your attention in the first place; they are flirting with you; so you reciprocate, you flirt back. This is actually a dilemma. But you can choose to ignore them.

Instead of hitting or teasing them back, you came give them a blank face and then continue with whatever you were doing. Let them know that you are not interested in them, unless you are. If not then don’t care to much about what they do. No, it isn’t that you are flirting, but the girls would get the wrong message. It’s quite normal, don’t take it personal.

Why do you care? That is just showing that you're a beta male and low value?

You should want them to think you get lots of girls. Girls like guys who can get lots of girls because you're already socially validated. You think chicks don't know Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp are getting lots of girls?
