If directly copy the choices into the sentence "space", you're correct; but the "sentence" itself originally may not be correct sentence.

e.g.
1. He doesn’t work, he’s retired.

6. It’s hard to explain what I do, but I guess I’m sort of a department manager. 7. The financial director is a qualified accountant.
