這些英文片語(俚語)的中文意思

幫chen補一下沒回答或者有點錯誤的部份，希望別介意，本來想發在意見那邊的，可是字數過多，只好發這邊了。

意指“又一天結束了”，跟“做一天和尚敲一天鐘”的意思差不多。

18. Don't make a scene. 別在吵了！
意指“別在吵了，又不是在做戲！”."scene"是戲劇中的某一場情景.

21. Don't brush me off. 不要拒絕我

22. Don't make a fool of me. 不要拿我開玩笑

"hold on"可以用於任何對話，不只是電話交談

補：這跟中文的“我可以吃下一頭牛”有什麼分別？

這句話在不同情況下大概可以翻譯成無數句不同的中文：

簡單來說就是“我沒資格/能力去.........”
