Why dating is so expensive?

Sigh. I know how you feel. I've spent wayyy tom much on food dates with my unemployed bf. Seriously going out to eat is a hugeee waist of money for real. I've decided I'm just not gonna spend money on stupid fast-food meals. I'll tell my dude to eat before I see him. So I suggest finding less expensive things to do in this stage with your girl.

It's true. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a good time. Find something you both like, like watching movies and just casually hangout instead of trying to get all ready for dates and stuff. Go walk around places since that'll force you to talk more you know? Anything can be fun if it's someone you really like or get along with well. And if you do go on dates, don't let her pay. I'm saying this because I'm too prideful and independent to tell my boyfriend I want him to pay and in turn I'm just like 'ughhh, why can't I just say yes when he asks if I want him to pay. I shouldn't be paying, sighhhh.'

You don't want to pay? Start getting creative, dude. I agree, the standard dinner and movie can cost a painful amount for two. Instead do something different. Make her dinner (most girls really like it when you cook for them). Make her a picnic. Do something active where you might only pay for rentals (like ice skating or roller skating). If you go out to do something like bowling, bring your own (better) food. Greasy pizza is great, but a girl might appreciate that you made something, and that you were thoughtful enough to do it ahead of time. Bring your own snacks to movies (smuggling things inside will create a spirit of conspiracy between the two of you). There's lots of ways to save money on dates.

this is the modern era, so guys are not really expected to be like ''oh dw, i'll pay'' it's nice of you that you wanna pay and all, but still, if a girl offers, just say ''ok, we'll split the bill'' simple. I know there's some girls out there who would expect you to pay, but seriously, I don't get why the guy has to pay all the time.

It's just life. Take them out for a stroll at the park or something instead of a dinner/lunch.
