A little help interpreting a Yod?

I have studied the Yod aspect for some time, but still the interpretation seems to elude me; particularly in regard to the position of the apex planet and what this points to as the path the native is often forced to take, a block in their energy or the point of focus for all their energy.

The Yod I am particularly interested in delving into is this one:

Sun(Libra) in the 1st house sextile Saturn(Sagittarius) in the 3rd house both quincunx the Moon(Taurus) in the 8th house

The Moon as the apex planet is afflicted by both Mercury and Pluto(Scorpio) in the 2nd house; as well as trine to Neptune(Capricorn) in the 4th house.

So far I'm thinking that the native is to deal with finances, perhaps with a very strong drive to acquire them for the sake of emotional security and well-being. I am also thinking that maybe they will be drawn into the study of the occult via a close family member, or the parents. But what else could the apex planet signify here?

I too am interested in the Yod aspect. This formation is often referred to as the "Finger of Fate" and wondering if you have heard that "title" of the yod. A "supposed" trait of ones destiny which points us to the location of our divine purpose here on earth. The Yod leads us to our Destiny. Pretty strong As your apex is the Moon in Taurus in the 8th somehow your emotions will drive you to "feel" your way to your destiny. With Sun and Saturn "helping" you get there with their positive beneficial "flow" floating in this odd formation to "drive" you right to where you claim what is "Yours." Your Destiny. How exciting. Even though some will loudly complain (Mercury/Pluto opposition to Moon) they will not be able to "rain on your parade" because Neptune with its "intangible creative spiritual way of getting things done" will supply that "intangible strength" through someone with 4th house ties of home and family. Now that is something to ponder!

What an interesting combination of planets in your Yod with an Apex Taurus Moon, with both your Libra Sun in the 1st sextiling Sag Saturn in the 3rd. Even though there is that stress aspect of 2nd house Mercury/Pluto opposing your moon, I am inclined to feel that there might be others that are highly verbal and it could mean possible frustration with other people of power. I see that opposition as more of a frustration with others that are wanting control (Pluto). You just have to avoid those to empower yourself to attain your destiny, that which is yours and yours alone.

I don't believe that there is a "blocking effect" at the point of apex, but instead there is a flow of energy as closed formations have more power that open aspects lack. I find this to be a point of focus for your energy and do not believe the yod points to a "Forced Path" with Blocked Energy.

Since the Sun and Moon are representing, I feel this is a huge formation for you. Especially with the connotation of other people's money? An inheritance perhaps? Someone in your local area (3rd house Saturn) will bring great opportunity to you through your 1st house nature and personality, which is quite bright indeed when one has a 1st House Sun. So you have the nature=sun bringing you an opportunity=sextile, from a possible elder in the community (3rd Saturn) that results in something 8th house happening as a result. What could it be? Well, Sex- Death- Other People's Money and your emotional energy of love of beauty, calm, and creature comforts (Taurus) that will define you as "An Individual" in your lifetime. What emotional investment will you be given? Over the protest of others (Mercury/Pluto opposition) and with that 4th house Capricorn Neptune trine is speaking rather loudly to me (though a trine should just whisper) that you will be karmically assisted in a highly spiritual way=Neptune from a possible family member, a wise family member even possible a far-removed wise person (Capricorn) that might have even been absent in your life...

I feel that somehow someway you will find your special unique purpose in this life and your personality and your nature will be key, the sextile of excitation hits Saturn, which is hard work rewarded greatly and agreeing with you now "for the sake of emotional security." What a complex and lovely configuration. I too have a Yod with Neptune at the apex in the 8th house with Venus/Mercury sextile to provide that beneficial "flow."

Hope this is helpful to you and sorry I am not more detailed regarding your destiny. I too still ponder my yod though I am up in years. But better late than never. And the greatest rewards are those that we work the hardest on. Patience....needed. I wish you well and always do enjoy your answers.
