Annie invest a sum of money for 3 years at 8% p.a. compounded half-yearly. If the interest after 3 years will be $600, how much is his investment?(correctrd to the nearest dollar.)

每半年派息，所以三年當成六個半年，而半年利息為4%，於是3年後，利息加本金係 (本金)* 1.04^6已知利息為600，所 以 (本金)* 1.04^6 - (本金) = 600
本金 = 600 / (1.04^6-1) = 2261

x=474
