What does it feel like to have 100 Grand + in the bank?

$100K+ is a good start and many people are thrilled to have something set aside. I have a bit more than that, and I do not have a comfortable feeling yet, So like I said, it is a good start, but keep on saving. The "thrill" factor of having that much money saved will depend upon your current & planned expenses, age, debts, dependents, lifestyle and such factors. Money does not make you happy, but having some can sure keep some of the blues away.

It's a good start and if you do not need the funds, convert into fixed annuities through your bank or credit union. Do not let them talk you into variable annuities because you could lose shirt. They might be paying about 2 to 3% but it's safe

If I had 100k then that would be my equity

I'd feel like a new man.
