I have a question to do for homework, which is:
given that x=(3u + 2)(u^2 - 3), find (d^2)x / d(u^2) in terms of u,
I'm really confused by this. Please could you explain it. Thanks.
更新1:

So far I have expanded the brackets, to get x = 3u^3 - 9u + 2u^2 -6

✔ 最佳答案
dx/du = 9u² - 9 + 4u

=> d²x/du² = 18u + 4

Sorry I'm not brilliant at his but I presume you just have to simplify it.
