Because i lost my laptop a couple of days ago, i heard that if my laptop have been on the internet, i can track the location of it?

or what else can i do to have my laptop back, inside my laptop there are some really important information!

please help me!

Sorry no you can't.. Your IP is just an address like a post code that changes whenever your location or the laptop's does.

The only way to track a lost laptop is to have software that connects to a server over the internet and tells someone where it is. The problem is you need to pay for the software and the service and if you haven't got it installed before your laptop is lost then that's it. Game Over.
