I'm scared about dressing as a girl for halloween... am I being silly?

This is my own decision, and being transgendered I see it as an opportunity for my first time really in public dressed in a dress. I'm sure for a masculine guy guy it's fine, a laugh, but for me it means a whole lot more.
Should I go ahead and dress as an alice in wonderland zombie or something along those lines?
Do you have any coping advice, for then or any other times?

This is for with my girlfriend who is fine with me being transgendered, and probably out to a club all night! (possibly at college too)

I think you should dress up as a Princess or as a Bride.

Halloween is the one night of the year when you can go out dressed as most anything. If anyone were to give you any BS about you wearing a dress you can just laugh it off as a costume.

Good luck on your first time out.

Just before my coming out to my friends we did a rollerblade outing and everybody had to wear a skirt. I wore a skirt and I told everybody 3days later that im trans. They told me they had a feeling for a long time, but when they saw me in a skirt and rollerblading so happy they saw something was different and it confirmed what they thought. Im soo happy I told them. Now when I rollerblade with them I often wear skirts
