MC 1.
A. Correct: S is partial positive(δ+) and Cl is partial negative(δ-) to make S-Cl bonds polar.
B. Incorrect: S has two lone pairs and two bond pairs which makes it arrange asymmetrically to give rise a net dipole moments in the molecules. Hence it is a polar molecule.
C. Correct

D. Correct, please refer to option C.

MC 2.
(1) and (2) are polar so they will deflect towards a charged rod.
(3) is non-polar so it will not deflect towards a charged rod.
Hence the answer is A.
