華籍英軍居英權問題

我想知點先有英國既居英權,我係91年出生,有BNO。但係聽人講話要97前申請先有,咁我姐係冇居英權啦?
BN(O) do not have right to adobe in UK from day one, you can however, enjoy visa free travel if you hold BN(O) to United Kingdom.....
There was some scheme (actually 3 scheme) for BNO Holder who have exceptional skill or special relationship with UK to apply British Citizenship, but that was before 1997 and now, no such scheme were planning or ready to formulating currently.

There are only 3 ways you can apply Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) ,that is permenant resident in UK
1. ) By Long Resident
According to Immigration Rule 276, a person who stay legally in UK continous for 10 years can apply ILR to remain in UK indefinitely. Or 14 years if the Resident were between break.
Resident Break mean in any time, the applicant were left or deported from UK for more than 3 months or have left in total more than 6 months. Then you are breaking your resident, then such object can aonly apply after 14 years of residency, not 10.

2.) By Skill Migration or Employment
You will automatically become avaliable to apply ILR if you have a MBA degrees studied in an Accredited British Educational provider or oversea provider. This is though HSMP -Highly Skilled Migration Program.
If you do not have such qualification, you can apply employment working visa to UK if you able to, apply though employment, you need to work in such employment for at least 5 years to qualified to apply ILR to UK.

3.) Or you can simply married an Britian, then you can apply ILR with 3 years you stay together, another 3 years you can apply British Passport.

Unless you are EEC/EEA citizens, you cannot apply anything though 5 years living in UK. Long resident require 10 year, not 5, read my detail page....

你足足遲了14年申請。在1997年回歸前你是合資格申請英藉，而且不是英藉海外公民。
