If the area of a square is (x^2+4x+4)cm^2, find the length of the square in term of x.

Area of square:
(x^2+4x+4)
=x^2+2(x)(2)+2^2
=(x+2)^2

Since the length of a square are the same.
Therefore the length of the square is (x+2) cm.

length^2 = area
length=(x+2)cm
