Michelin Pilot Sport 3 (PS3) is a great tire -- comfortable, quiet, and great performance in both dry and wet. I drove in the typhoon rain in the twisty Clear Water Bay Road and Sai Kung last week and the wet performance is just exceptional. However, I am not sure if the price is within $6000. I will say for your sizes it's going to be closer to the high $6K

I heard good thing about the new Bridgestone RE002. It's day and night difference from the old RE001, which is not shabby itself. The price should be lower than the PS3 and very close to your budget allowance.

Bridgestone S001 is marvelous. Unbelievable dry and wet performance. However, it's 50% more expensive than the PS3 (PS3 is made in Thailand, while S001 is made in Japan I believe). You can check the price first and see if it's acceptable to you.
