I hope I am not taking the question wrong, but IF the question is meaning do we hold our brothers and sisters to a different standard regarding how we live our lives as Christians. Yes, I do.
The world should be able to see a difference in us, we belong to the Lord, we should bring Glory to His Name.
Any time the Church or an individual Christian points to a certain behavior as wrong or sinful, wagging fingers are raised ah, ah..you’re being judgmental The Bible says, judge not... Who are you to judge your neighbor!?” etc. This is clearly an attempt to shut down discussion quickly and to shame the Christian, or the Church into silence. Too many are terrified and simply shamed when they are said to be “judging” someone because they call attention to sin or wrongdoing... it is like a capital offense! “How dare we do such a thing!” .. The world protests, “Who are you to judge someone else?!”...
We need to get right with God ourselves and understand our own sin so that we will see clearly enough to properly correct our brothers and sisters.. loving them by not wanting sin to overtake them. I for one welcome rebuke from a brother or sister when done with love and concern.
We should not let what will be, be.
