Referring to my book, acid hydrolysis of ester is a reversible reaction but acid hydrolysis of amide is an irreversible reaction. Why?

But when I look for other reference book, both acid hydrolysis of ester and acid hydrolysis of amide is also reversible reaction under the same condition. Which version is correct?

As I remember, hydrolysis of amide is irreversible.
