'A&A work' is a formal term in accordance with the Building Ordinance. When you deal with Buildings Department, you must use this formal term. A&A project is a casual term meaning a project of A&A work.

Any alteration/addition work that requires the approval from BD is under the category of A&A works. Decoration work without affecting structural elements are exempted.
