"Feel" can be transitive or intransitive.
(1) When it is transitive, it must take on an object. That is, it is followed by a noun or noun phrase.
e.g. I can feel the pain. (pain = noun)
I don't feel anything.
(2) When it is intransitive, it will be used as a linking verb in most of the cases. Then, it is followed by a predicative adjective.
e.g. I feel sad.
I don't feel happy. (happy = adjective)
Never say There has... or There have... (it is wrong!)

If you want to express a continuous motion, it'd better use the verb form.
e.g. He is wagging his head in disagreement. The dog is wagging its tail happily.
Otherwise, use "give" instead of "take"; e.g. He gave a wag of his finger to show his disagreement. The dog gave a responsive wag of its tail.
