Total vertical distance travelled
= [10 + 2*10*(0.6) + 2*10*(0.6)² + 2*10*(0.6)³] m
= {10 + 2*10*(0.6)[1 + (0.6) + (0.6)²]} m
= {10 + 12[1 - (0.6)³]/(1 - 0.6)} m
= 33.52 m

= π(1)² cm²
= π cm²

Area of C2
= π(1 * 2)²
= 4π cm²

Area of C3
= π (1 * 2 * 2)²
= 16π cm²

Total area of C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7
= [π + π(4) + π(4)² + π(4)³ + π(4)⁴ + π(4)⁵ + π(4)⁶] cm²

r = ⁵√(1/32)

Length of the original string
= [64 + 64(1/2) + 64(1/2)² + 64(1/2)³ + 64(1/2)⁴ + 64(1/2)⁵] cm
= 64[1 - (1/2)⁶] / [1 - (1/2)] cm
= 126 cm
