Why most Christians are not "super wealthy" financially? Atheists like Buffet and Gates are "blessed" instead?

First, don't think a lot of Christians make it to the Forbes Billionaire list. So, why God does not bless HIS "own children" (faithful believers) with lots of money and material possessions? Could it be that massive material weatlh is not considered a blessing from God's point of view?

the thing is that getting loads of money is considered selfis earhtly pleasures. god wants us to have money to support our family butthere is no need to have an excess of money so that we can recklessely spend it selfishly. We considered being blessed as having a loving family, spouse, friends, home ect.

What is all the money worth if you are going to hell? I would rather to serve on Earth and reign in Heaven then reign on earth and serve in hell.

As the Scriptures say; they are having their reward in full now, we will have our reward at a future time.

Money isn't always a blessing, there are things better than money.

i went and tried each and every thing and now i understand this is incorrect and that i do no longer do it via fact this is undesirable for me and my happiness. yet now i do no longer choose others for the state they are in. I understand that we are each and every person and christian, buddhist, in spite of is basically a label you stick on your very own brow, perhaps for social motives, kinfolk etc. yet interior the tip would not make you any closer to God than you would be without it. I additionally found out that to evangelise to people is pointless. people react to love no depend what the words are. this is basically by using cultivating the affection and wellbeing of your self and letting it overflow to others that we make some difference interior the international. each and all of the sermonizing approximately morality, accepting Jesus etc. is man made. what's mandatory in this international is real openness and help of the different. yet whether you're taking that as an concept it turns into stupid via fact people commence thinking you will desire to settle for murderers and new child molesters. What i'm attempting to assert is that the difficulty replaced into that faith is in everybodies heads. this is this precis ingredient that governs us, however the international isn't bounded via those suggestions. they do no fit. the international is basically too complicated and astounding to slot right into a e book. we would desire to consistently be masters of ourselves and give up hiding from life. Sacred texts are there to help us, no longer rule us. Oh yeah sorry, i'd desire to no longer likely be answering this via fact i'm no longer an atheist. basically a 'former christian'.

The reason is in the Bible. Let me repeat it again here. The so called chosen people and the so called faithful believers are only honouring God with their lips but their hearts are really far away. So God hides His face from them to make them realize what will they be without God. Material wealth is considered by God as blessing. It is just a tendency of some blessed person to forget about God. But not all of them forget God. Let us review the list in Wikipedia:

Bill Gates is thought to be an agnostic.
Warren Buffet is believed to be an agnostic.
Carlos Slim Helú is a Maronite Christian.
Lakshmi Mittal is an adherent of Hinduism.
Mukesh Ambani believes in Hinduism.

This is a ratio of 3 is to 2 in favour of God assuming Bill Gates and Warren Buffet do not believe in God. But the phrases "thought to be" and "believed to be" makes the argument against God weak.
Who knows what is really in the hearts of these 2 topnotchers? In fact, Bill Gates admits religious principles are valid. This could be the reason why he is donating to charity because charity is a religious principle.

17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Mostly because vast physical wealth is not and should not be a goal for Christians.

I believe your last question answers your question. God's idea of a blessing and man's idea of a blessing are usually two entirely different things.

Don't be fooled with my worldly possessions that will soon be gone
My treasure is in Heaven it will last forever and cannot be stolen devalued or be taken by a taxing government

It's a trade off.....Wealthy for a short period by human Standards ...or wealthy for eternity by Gods standards
