Binomial distribution is used.
Probability of observing an odd number = p = 3/6 = 1/2
q = 1-p = 1-1/2 = 1/2
n = 3
The general form of binomial distribution for determining the probability of r successes is
P(r) = nCr*q^(n-r)*p^r
Required probability = P(r=2) = 3C2*(1/2)^1*(1/2)^2
= 3*1/2*1/4
= 3/8 OR 0.375 OR 37.5%
