請問With this ring....呢句點解？

With this ring, I thee wed. I shall bring thee a mighty army.

I know that "Thee" is object..but i can get the meaning of "I thee wed'..

Also, i wanna know what, "wed", "ring" and "army", are their meaning here?

Wed = Marry?
Ring = 戒指?
Army = Military?

Can anybody help me plz?
