簡單英文煩惱

1.咩係動詞
VERB = describe an 動作 action, forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence

He yells.
Mum asks.
We play games.
I eat babies. (lol)

2.咩係名詞
NOUN = names

We play games.
I eat babies.
Ann hit her dog.

3.咩係形容詞
ADJECTIVE = used to 形容 something

We play interesting games.
I am crazy, I eat babies.
Ann hit her poor dog.

4.點解D字後面有tion,及ness個D等等.
Those are nouns. But their original forms aren't nouns so we add suffix (ness/tion/ment) after them to turn them into nouns.

Act (v) -> action (n)
cute (adj) -> cuteness (n)
hot (adj) -> hotness (n)
swim (v) -> swimmer / swimming (n)
laugh (v) -> laughter (n)
assume (v) -> assumption (n)
develop (v) -> development (n)

5.咩係現在進行式.咩過去式.總之例晒全部式點解...
I eat babies everyday.
I am eating babies right now.
I ate babies in the past.
I was eating babies last night when he came and saw me.
I have been eating babies since I was 10.
I have eaten 10 babies so far.
I stopped eating babies at the age of 15. I had been eating them since I was 10.
The babies are eaten by me. (Passive voice)
Damn, I should have eaten more babies before they ran out.

oh gosh if you don't understand this, I wonder if you will understand the above... anyway I have gone so far, lemme explain this as well --

HE/ SHE/ IT/ ANNA/ TOM
- eats babies / does not (doesn't) eat normal food
- kills infants / does not (doesn't) treasure lives
I/ WE/ THEY
- eat babies / do not (don't) eat normal food
- kill infants / do not (don't) treasure lives
