would和might除了是will和may的past tense外亦可以在平時對話和寫作中表示不肯定或懷疑的態度
I would consider to do it = 我或者會考慮去做
I will consider to do it = 我一定會考慮去做
I might consider to do it = 我或有可能考慮去做
I may consider to do it = 我是會考慮去做
If I were ...並不是conditional咁簡單的，而是假設句hypothetical，並不是真實(如果)而是代入另一個不應該發生的角色的話...

用 'would' 有些時候是禮貌需要。例：
Would you like tea or coffee?
I would like to have a cup of tea please.
另外在 indirect speech, will 和 may 亦有可能改成 would 和 might.
