Noble gases exists as monatomic molecules (monatomic atoms). The molecules (atoms) are held together byweak van der Waals' forces.
貴氣體以單原子分子(個別原子),分子(原子)以范德華力連在一起。

The greater the size of the molecule (atom), the greater the weak der Waals'forces between molecules (atoms).
分子(原子)的體積愈大,分子間(原子間)的范德華力愈大。

Down Group 0, the molecular sizes (atomic sizes) increase, and this leads tothe increase in van der Waals' forces between molecules (atoms). As a result, the melting points and boilingpoints increase down the group.
沿第0族向下,分子體積(原子體積)增加,導致分子間(原子間)的范德華力遞增。結果,熔點和沸點沿族向下遞增。

Selenium Chan:

It holds discrete molecules together. Example: Oxygen, Carbon
-relatively weak compared to other forces, eg. covalent bond, ionic bond.
Therefore, discrete molecules held by this force has a simple molecular structure.

In other words, it's weaker, found only in molecules(non-metals)

范德華力? What's that?=="
