1) how many protons are there in an iron atom?

2)how many eletrons are there in an iron atom?

3)if iron atom loses 3 eletrons to form an iron(iii)ion , what is the charge of an iron(iii)ion?

4)how does salt solution speed up the rate of rusting?

5)how does scratching and bending speed up the rate of rusting?

6)how does zinc protect iron from rusting?

✔ 最佳答案
1)
No. of protons in iron atom = 26

2)
No. of electrons in iron atom = no. of protons in iron atom = 26

3)
The charge of iron(III) ion is 3+

4)
Since salt solution is an electrolyte and rusting is an electroconduting reaction, salt solution can speed up rate of rusting.
It is because it gives mobile ions that speed up the moving of electrons during rusting.

5)
Scratching and bending can make the surface of iron rough and increase the surface area of rusting, this allows more oxygen and water to contact with iron. Thus, the rate of rusting will increase.

6)
Galvanizing. The method is to coating a layer of zinc on the surface of iron.

對不起我不是來解答你的問題的,不過我很好奇爲什麽你的題目跟我的暑期作業一模一樣
(難道你跟我是同一間學校的?
