作文題目(英文)

A man I know works from Monday to Sunday every week to earn enough money to cure his wife's cancer. He sacrifices his time. You may think this is some kind of cheesy plot of a chick flick, and there are millions of heroes who died to save his people in history, but is sacrificing just about the dying and the big things? These little corny sacrifices are always the most heart-warming and soul-touching experience one can have.

Sacrifice is made from one's heart. It can not be ordered. The wisdom of Henri Frederic Amiel explains it all, "sacrifice, which is the passion of great souls, has never been the law of societies.” That is also why only the most angelical and beautiful people sacrifice. And hence if we think more about sacrificing in the small ways, the world will become a better place where everybody is the angel.

The man mentioned lost his wife to cancer eventually. But their love never dies. People say “sacrificing your happiness for the happiness of the one you love, is by far, the truest type of love.” Not only is love always linked to sacrifices, but sacrifice itself is love. Is there an odd that they are not connected? No. Because it would not be called a 'sacrifice' if there is no love at all. Sacrifice is love.
