Mr.Chan drove a distance of 252km last Sunday. He started at 9:30 a.m. and arrived at 1:00 p.m. Find his average speed.

Time taken for the whole journey = 3.5 hrs
The average speed of Mr.Chan :
252 / 3.5
= 72 km/hr

=3.5hours
average speed=distance/time
=252km/3.5h
72km/h
