1. Selling price = cost (1 + % profit)= $120 ( 1 + 20) = $120 (1.2) = $144
Marked price = selling price = $144.
2.
Selling price = Marked price x (1 - % discount)
= $144 x (1 - 15%) = 144 x 0.85 = $122.40
So % change = (selling price - cost)/cost x 100%
= (122.4 - 120)/120 x 100% = 2% profit.
