What's wrong with it? Does introvert mean failure in life forever? Why would you force yourself to be extrovert, that's insanity. Who are some successful, introvert people in mankind?

history does not tell story of Alexander the meek, and Henry the timid. You may be the smartest person in the world, with great ideas, if you do not have the ability to stand up, be heard, and lead your ideas are worthless.

I think introverts are more observant and careful of life's surroundings while extroverts are too loud and busy exploiting themselves.

There is absolutely no problem with being an introvert! Introverts have as good of a chance at success as extroverts, if not even more so. It pretty much depends on the person's ambitions in life and what you would mean by success, but the chances are the same. I know some people would say that those who do not go out and speak to new people every chance they can will never be successful, but they do not know that. Because we think before we act, we are actually pretty good at coming up with plans and ideas that can make us successful in whatever field we are interested in.

I have tried to become more extroverted, but I just wasn't happy with doing so. Forcing myself into social situations that I had no desire to be in is something I will never do again. It was definitely not pleasant.

Some successful introverts that I know of are Lincoln, Bill Gates, and Eleanor Roosevelt. Like some people say, introverts could rule the world if we didn't have to deal with so many people! :)

There is no problem with being what you are. Although many false judgments can be made at any time. We live in a society where labels which edify the abundance of ones heart should he or she decide to accept it. Always changing. Flavor of the month. This quarter being sensitive (which is usually popular) could somehow be used as a way of profiling a deranged killer and all of a sudden there is a dark shadow following the definition. Next month perhaps a famous veteran actor may be interviewed on Larry King a question or answer could come up with a hint of the person being an introvert. Now the label could take on a new face of abilities and successful talent. It all depends on how close a person follows group consciousness in society. Buzz words etc.
