USA appliance 16V 10VA transfomer, what i need for Hong Kong?

I have a USA doorbell with instruction that said it needs a 16Volt 10VA transformer, now i'm in Hongkong using 220V system, what kind of transformer will I need in order to operate this doorbell? the transfomer here only show what amp, not VA.

If u know amps and primary voltage, then u can easily compute VA....what matters is the frequency...in US 60 cps are foreseen , while in Hong Kong, i guess, 50cps are likely to be used....If your doorbell is for 16Vac; 60cps, then u can make it working properly by applying an ac voltage, in the range 13...13.5 Vac @ 50 cps; 0.7 Amps should suit.....

you can use 220V/16V 1 amps rating can be used for your purpose (It is nothing but 16VA).you may get this Transformer in multi tapping secondary use your required voltage for Your purpose.

VA is volts * amps. 16V 1A will be more than enough.

you will need a 220/16 volt 10 VA transformer, or in amperes,7.5 amperes at 220 volts
