A solution requires 250 ml of a 7.5 % (w/v) solution of tri sodium citrate. The only citrate you have available is the dihydrate, C6H5O7Na3.2H2O with a formula weight of 294.1. How much would you have to weigh out to make up this solution?

✔ 最佳答案
(0.250 L) x (0.075) = 0.01875 g dry sodium citrate

formula weight of C6H5O7Na3 = 258.0697 g/mol

(0.01875 g) x (294.1 / 258.0697) = 21.4 mg
