Alack! ‘twas life! 上面部分有標記的內容是參考莎士比亞十四行詩的寫法，他詩裡經常有感嘆時間跟愛情稍縱即逝的主題，有些部分是我自己寫，詩裡面的用字語言就是這樣，莎翁在詩行裡經常把時間擬人化（所以Time的T要大寫），我覺得這樣可讓詩比較生動，所以我就採用他的方式。


以下這幾句跟你的原文意思有些微差異，茲翻譯如下：

Let Time not drive you to despair


別讓時間將你逼入絕境


Nothing prevent’st its devouring scythe


它那吞噬一切的鐮刀無可抵擋


Time flees with no pace perceived


時光飛逝，無跡可循


Time would not cease its tyranny


時間不會停止它的暴行


Alack! ‘twas life!


嗚呼哀哉！此乃人生是也！

Alack這個字經常運用在寫詩裡面，有感嘆與遺憾的意思（這裡則是可以指，對於時間無常性的無力感），看起來用語上比較強烈一點，但是把詩人創作時那種若有似無的無病呻吟感覺描繪的挺貼切的。 供您參考。
