I know it depends on the college and the class. Is it just like high school but harder and more work, or are there only lectures? I would like to go to are fairly large university. What are the classes there like?
It's all about getting high grades. Professors don't know you by name and they will not give you free points because "Oh, he/she is a good kid. I know he/she's trying. he/she deserves more points than blah."
They require you to do most of the work outside of class. Your freshman, 100 level, classes at a large university are going to be huge. 100-200 students. They will be lectures. You will have a lot of writing and reading to do and with less time to complete than you had in HS. Some classes have class discussion or project.
oh you learn so much. Better get in college or you will be a loser for life. You will be worthless and nobody will love you working at mcdonalds. You will die a cold horrible death and your life will be a living horror.
