Why people care so much about fame and power at work?

I think those are the people who feel insecure about themselves. They just want to show off and abuse their power. But, at the end of the day, when they leave the office and walk on the streets, they're just nobody. I will still curse and yell at them for any wrongdoings. Also, when they leave the company, no one will remember them.

some people are just greety and only care about them. It is just better to stay away from them =]
