買羽絨 down/ 鎖頭 locks/ passport photos/ canadian notes+ US notes/ personal medicine with lables/ rice cooker/ evening gowns for parties/spare spectacles (if short sighted)/ recording pen for recording lectures/ notebook computers+ printer +USB/........

Toronto has a big China Town.The post office & police station have Chinese working there. You can buy HK newspapers and magazines.A lot of Chinese restaurants and stores selling Chinese products. You just feel like home but at the same time, you feel homesick at major Chinese Festivals.

1) 衣服:加拿大處於北半球之北美洲,天氣大部分時間寒冷。所以必須有天冷的裝備,例如背囊,雪靴,棉質手套,禦寒衣服(絲棉襖,斗篷羽絨外衣,絲棉長褲),棉緊身內衣,棉織襪子,毛線織成帽子等。不過除了絲棉襖和斗篷羽絨外衣之外,大部分之禦寒裝備都可以在加拿大購買。
2) 住宿:若果能事先聯絡學校或當地親朋好友藉以幫助尋找適當住宿地方。
3) 金錢:預先電滙大筆款項往當地與香港有聯繫的銀行存,以方便隨時提款應用。
4) 駕駛執照:最佳預先在香港換領國際駕駛執照,此舉方便即時可以在加拿大應用。但國際駕駛執照有效期有規定,必須在抵加拿大後兩個月內或指定期間內再重新申請考取當地的加拿大駕駛執照。同時要注意,加拿大的汽車是用左邊駕駛系統的而非香港用右邊駕駛系統的。
5) 時間上的差距::加拿大多倫多與香港的時間相差約為十三小時,但溫哥華則約為九小時。
