Why do many Americans think some tourists whom they see on the streets are immigrants? I think Americans are so rude.

first of all, Americans aren't always rude. but secondly, to answer your question, the United States of America accepts more immigrants then every other country put together. This not including illegal aliens. (we also get lots of those) So our tourist:immigrant ratio is tilted far to the immigrant side and depending on where you go, we don't get too much tourism from other countries, I live in Ohio and the only foreign tourists i have seen here were foreign exchange students. However, there are quite a few immigrants living in my town. The USA is a country of immigrants so can you understand why we might think a tourist is an immigrant?

I am one American that pretty much doesn't give a sh*t what the rest of the world thinks. You love our money and love our military when your worthless army can't do the job. Is that rude enough for you?
