Carbon fixation means any process that chaneg CO2 gas to a solid compound.
One example of carbon fixation is photosynthesis, in this reaction, CO2 is converted to carbohydrates.
Another example is CO2 + Ca(OH)2 ---> CaCO3 + H2O
